Editing typos in forums on iPad

Hello

I'm not sure if this is an iPad, browser or moodle problem. When replying to student posts in a forum, I find I can't edit any accidental typing mistakes. I can backspace but can't add any new letters. Is there a preferred bowser perhaps. I have tried both safari and chrome.

thank you

Peter

what type of typos do you mean? Are you referring to misspelled words or extra letters you need to delete?

what version of iOS are you using? What version of Mopodle are you on?

I have been using my iPad air to respond to posts on this forum, but I have not edited them after a post. I have not had any issues fixing my own typos.

Also be aware that changing to a different browser with an iPad does not change the underlying rendering engine due to Apples restrictions on its App store. This is why there is currently not a version of Firefox for iOS. So if the problem is with the rendering engine (which I doubt), switching browsers will not help.
