I am using Moodle:
$release = '2.6.1 (Build: 20140113)'; // Human-friendly version name
I am setting up this system, and have never used Moodle bezyond 1.8 before. Installation went smoothly.
I am having problems with the repository - which is a novel aspect of Moodle as far as good old 1.8 is concerned!
I have added a file resource (see plm_uploaded_file.jpg) and saved it successfdully. It appears on my page with a title. Opening a different browser I have no problem in downloading the file. So thisd seems fine.
jtanner_moodle26=> select filepath, filename from mdl_files where id=44;
filepath | filename
/ | plm_uploaded_file.txt.R
In config.php I have:
$CFG->dataroot = '/home/jtanner/moodledata26';
I would expect my file to be in /home/jtanner/moodledata26/ or maybe in /home/jtanner/moodledata26/ repository but it is not. In fact I cannot find the file at all:
find . -name plm_upload* -print
finds nothing either in the moodledata26 folder or in the application folder itself. So where is this file? Once I can sort that out I may be able to start untangling the other problems I am having.
Many thanks for any help!
