I've backed up a course (on crteacher2.com) and am trying to restore it into a new course (on classroom revolution.com). The problem is, not all the assignments seem to be showing up.
When I look at the list of files that will be backed up and restored, they are there: but they are not visible on the home page for the site.
Any help would be really appreciated!

Could it be because the assignments are the old type (from Moodle 2.2 and before) and the new site doesn't have Assignment 2.2 enabled? Please see the section 'Restoring course backups from Moodle 2.2 and older' in the documentation Assignment upgrade tool for more details.
Yes, that was exactly the problem. Somebody at classroom revolution.com changed the settings for me for restoring classes, and I am now good to go.
