I just noticed that the school demo course has a few language packs installed: Deutsch, English, Español internacional, Francais, Nederlands, (ru), (ar) and (ja).
I think it would be nice to have more major language packs installed there; eg, those with > 80% translation of 2.6 core strings. And it would be even better if the language packs were updated regularly.
Congratulations to all who participated in the new look for moodle.org that automatically translates for language packs using AMOS strings. It looks equally nice in English and translated.
