Hi,
I have the Administration and Navigation blocks set to show throughout the site from the front page. However I want Teachers to be able to see these blocks, regardless of whether or not editing is on, and to hide the block from Students. Looking at the block permissions, it seems that the site wide blocks only look at the roles of Authenticated User and Authenticated User on Frontpage to determine whether or not a user should be able to view them.
I'm guessing that the student and teacher roles might be course specific, but I was under the impression that those course roles would overwrite or take precedence over the general system roles. Is there a way for me to get these site wide blocks to show and hide for specific roles other than those two roles using the permissions?
