Hi i have read a few posts about this on the forum but they seem to date back to around 2008.. i was just wondering if any plugins did get released?

I dont think you will find any plugins.
I guess you know Moodle has some payment plugins, but they are limited, you cannot offer bulk discounts etc.
You can find more up to date discussions of this nature relating to Magento and WooCommerce (Wordpress based cart) if you are not already locked into osCommerce. I still dont think you will find anything in the way of a finshed plugin, you may find more people intersted in those platforms though.
We did some work to integrate WooCommerce/Wordpress to Moodle for a client. We didn't get to the point of releasing anything and it would take a bit of investment to make a general version. However, it's out there if anybody is interested enough.
