I have class of about 180 students enrolled in one of my courses. They have been sorted into lab groups externally in another database. I would like to be able to create a group in the moodle and then populate it with a list of the appropriate students using, for example, a CSV file with a list of student ID's.
Can some one point me to a very simple and step by step set of instructions on how to do this? Our Central IT have all the admin rights - my level of permissions is at the "Edit Course" level. (Currently using M2.4 I think).
