We currently have an external database that we use to login to our site and are working with our website developer to have automatic authentication from our website that would enable automatic enrolment in a limited range of courses.
Would using a cohort enrolment be the best way to do this?
If this is the case, what details are needed in the external database and is there anything we need to do on the moodle side.
I am just trying to scope the process as our developer doesn't normally use moodle
