Is it possible to give each individual course category its own icon?
Say for example Im doing courses for different types of software, I would like to give the course category an icon relative to the software.

Hi Wayne,
in Moodle 1.5 you create themes with their own icon sets. You then set "allowcoursethemes" to true and select the appropriate theme for the differnt courses. Done

I know how to apply the theme to the course, but what I want to do is have an individual icon on the Available Courses page for the different courses. At the moment the icon is pointing to /pix/i/course.gif for each course. Can I change it for each one easily? Im a fairly new user, can create a theme but don't know how to give a theme an icon set.

Do you want to replace the course icon for example the sideblock shown in fig. b with different icons for every course - to see several icons in that list at the same time?
If not can you please show or explain what exactly you want to get?

Yes that is exactly what I would like to do.
But only for the Categories, not one for each individual course.
