Is is possible to have a link which lets you save target as rather than open the file in Acrobat - some of us do not have broadband and the save target as is a better option?
Thanks

Hi
The 1.4.3 for teacher and trainers is now working fine when right clicking but the other 2 manuals do not let you save the actual files, you only get links to either view.php or view.html

Have just noticed that the other files in the directory have the same problem. Right clicking as using save target as will only save the html page.

With regard to Darren's query, attached is a handout which I produced to explain how to force Word documents to open in IE. As we had Word documents with links to other Word documents in Moodle, when the links were clicked on in Word, Moodle would want you to login again each time, by forcing Word docs to open in the same window, we overcame this problem.
Although this handout does exactly answer Darren's query, it does also show how to tell IE to not open a document by selecting the confirm open after download, this will then mean that when a document is selected in IE, the dialogue box will open asking if you want to open or save the file. This can also be set as the default for all types of documents.
PS love the spell checker but why is Moodle not in the dictionary?
