Unrol students from course but keep their data and qualifications

Hello:

my question is pretty much what the title says: I need to "get rid" of the users that have already finished a course. But, at the same time, I need their qualifications, tasks, etc to remain available in case I need them later.

I know I read how to do it a long time ago, but haven't been able to find it again.

Any suggestions?

In stead of unenroling, you can suspend users. 

  • Go to the course page
  • Click Users>Enrolled users in the course administration block
  • Click the edit enrolment icon of a particular student under Enrolment methods (last column of student data) on the Enrolled users screen
  • Change status from Active to Suspended
  • Click Save changes
