We are using Moodle 2.5.3+. We have multiple instructors who are assigned to small groups of students in a class. There may be several instructors and several groups within the same class.
We have used SharePoint in the past to help instructors more easily find the assignments for the students they were assigned to. We created sub sites in SharePoint for each instructor and then gave each student their own folder under their assigned instructor to securely upload their assignments. All instructors have access to all of the student folders, but only the one student can see their one folder. It is very labor intensive to manage permissions and create the structure, many mistakes happen; we are looking for a way to duplicate this easily in Moodle.
