I am new to a site (and pretty new to Moodle) where I need to help them straighten something out.
They added a user who is a manager. But on his dashboard - "/my" - he doesn't see the same buttons as the other managers. He can see buttons for My Courses, My History, My Profile, and Change Password. But not for Manage Courses, Add Course, etc.
He is is the same groups (Managers and Teachers) as another manager who can see all those buttons.
I have been trying and will continue to try to understand the whole roles/contexts thing, but for now, I just need to give this user the same access as another manager. I need him to see the same admin buttons, and have the same "powers".
How can I do this? In the mdl_role_assignments table? How can I even figure out which context is involved with the admin buttons on /my?
