Link to class site/inviting students

Link to class site/inviting students

Hi,

I am new to moodle and I am trying to invite students to a course I created.  How can I have the students sign up?  I know that they can sign up via email on the moodle course site, but I dont know how to get a link of the site to them since I access the site through localhost.  I apologize if this is a simple question, but I am very new to this.

If you are accessing your Moodle through localhost then the only place you will be able to access it is on the computer it is installed on. You really need to get it installed on a server with a public Internet connection / domain name to begin to get students to access your Moodle install.

I will play with it on my computer and figure out the features before I do that.
