For Moodle 2.4is there a team assignment or submitssion option as there was in 1.9 - where the students created the groups and not the instructor? If so, I appreciate it if you could please refer me to the documentation.

Thanks for the reply Damyon but as far as I understand you need as a teacher to create the groups in advance and in 1.9 the students could teamed up as part of the team assigment add on. Is there an add on that you familiar with that does the same as the 1.9 does?
