Brand new Moodler here and a bit lost. Using Moodle 2.6 (Build: 20131118) I have installed the new Essential Theme and got the version that works with 2.6.
Essential shows up in my Themes folder and I can access all the elements and make changes, eg general settings, colour, advertising boxes, etc. However, when i do this and select "save" there are no changes, my Moodle site remains exactly the same.
I get no error messages so I have obviously missed something important like an activation for add-ons or something. I realise it is probably obvious but I am at a complete loss. any guidance greatly appreciated! In answering please remember my lowly noobish state - simple and clear please!
