okay i had the same problem.
I am using moodle 2.6.2 (installer package ) for testing. i uploaded a scorm package from articulate presenter but got the invalid json errot. i changed browser, didnt work until i remembered that i should have increased the max_execution_time from 30 to 160 in php.ini file. That did it for me
