I know that the Box migration page (http://docs.moodle.org/24/en/Box.net_APIv1_migration) says that the Box.net-alias-to-copy-conversion tool must be used before 14 December 2013 to avoid data loss. This implies that 2.4.7 (we're running 2.4.6 now) needs to be installed (and the conversion script run) by 12/14/13, and if it isn't, then your Box repository integration will stop working altogether on 12/14/13.
My institution is in a bit of a quandary. Our campus has an enterprise Box license, and we had to do some custom programming to enable the Moodle Box repository to seamless work with our campus Shibboleth. With the changes to the integration, we need to redo much of that code. Our campus will be starting finals in the next week (and we also have the Thanksgiving break to deal with, along with the unavailability of key staff), so we really don't want to perform an upgrade like this right now. We don't have any real time to do this upgrade until after December 14.
So I just need it confirmed that the December 14 date for installing 2.4.7 and getting our Box integration is a hard deadline... that our current Box integration in 2.4.6 (using, apparently, the Box v1 API) will NOT work after 12/14/13. Could someone clarify this for me?
Many thanks.... Brian
