I'm trying to build a self assessment activity that will enable a user (student) to assess the 'level of responsibility' thy are operating at within a SFIA (Skills Framework for the Information Age) Skill sets. Within any Skill set there are up to 7 levels of responsibility (covering one of four categories) which can be applied to each of the skill definitions.
Specifically, what I'm trying to do is design a self assessment activity that asks the respondent to choose which of a set of behavioural statements best aligns to their work on a project or set of projects. These behavioural statements are contextualised to a SFIA skill set and aligned with a 'Level of responsibility'.
What I want to do:
1. Present the applicant with a series of statements that describes a level of responsibility contextualised to a specific skill.
2. Applicant chooses the the statement that most closely aligns with their level of responsibility. (No right or wrong answers!)
3. Repeat the process for four sub-categories of levels of responsibility (Autonomy, Influence, Complexity, Business Skills).
4. On completion present the applicant with a 'result' which is likely to be based on the lowest level of responsibility indicated during the self assessment. This could be a link to a page based on the 'score' achieved.
I have searched the forums and experimented with Assignments, Lessons and other Moodle 2.5 activities but I haven't found a simple way of achieving this as yet.
Are you able to point me toward any resources that will help me achieve this goal - or offer any suggestions?
Thanks in anticipation.
