Everyone,
I am using Moodle 2.4.4+ and am connecting to an external site that our users have access to for video content. The way this works is that each of my users has a username on the external site that mirrors their Moodle login. Using the URL resource I have been able to append the username onto the launch url the site provides and have the video content open without the user having to login to see it.
Our vendor has just informed us that they are changing their username structure and we will need to add a prefix to each username in order for them to login, i.e. "prefix\username". This will break the URL's that I have already setup unless I can find a way to append the prefix to the username value that I am passing. Is there a way that I can do this with the URL resource?
