We've just set up a fresh Moodle 2.5.2 install and installed the Attendance module and block. The resource and the block show up fine in Moodle and we had no installation issues. We added the resource to a course, no problem. We have 1 student (as a test) enrolled.
When we attempt to use the plugin we get the message of "A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again."
We tried changing the folder permissions in the /Mod and /Block from 711 to 755 and the files from 666 to 644 to match all the other plugins which made no difference.
We get the same message regardless of how we try to access it (block or resource link). It also makes no difference whether weare logged in as Admin or Teacher. The teacher role has permissions to access the plugin but when we looked at the individual user, the permissions said not allowed (but show allowed for admin, even though we get the same messge)
Any help would be appreciated, we're pretty new to admin'ing a Moodle setup :)
