Hi,
I am looking for an LMS for instructional design research. My biggest requirement is a simple means of moving data in and out of the system in real time - preferably restful web services using json. This would include student profile information and all course activities.
I would also like the course site (whatever it is) to have a modern look and feel without having to spend time extending the out of-the-box infrastructure. To be honest, navigating the Moodle site does not inspire me with confidence; it is extremely vintage.
Does Moodle support full access to data via a web services and are there example sites that show off a nice built-in front end?
