I'm using moodle 2.2.7 and I am currently getting a few complaints about users not being notified before their course is about to expire. I have followed the supposed steps to where the setting to send a notification is, but I don't have the option to use the setting. It just isn't there! It's so frustrating and I can't find any documentation to help me with this topic! Is it because of the version I'm using? or is there something I can change? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Francis,
It is indeed because of the version you are using. If you can upgrade to Moodle 2.4 or later, you'll find a "Notify before enrolment expires" setting, as mentioned in the documentation Self enrolment.
