Forum images not coming through the email

Hello

if we post an image in a posting on a forum by the time it arrives at a users email in box it nothing more than a place holder.

Is this the end users email settings / ISP settings stripping it in case of 'nasties' or is it something to do with the way we are sending it?

Anybody know which end to look?

I don't know if there is a setting in Moodle but have you tried in your email program to automatically OK images from your site? My email programs do that unless I change the settings.

I have found the same problem and will look into Paula's solution.

In the interim, I thought I'd check to see if you found a solution.
