I know this has been asked and somewhat answered in different ways, different versions. So what I'm trying to determine and understand is what 'upload users' will do in regard to sending out emails to those new users. Does this feature actually supposed to send out emails to newly uploaded users or not?

And my next question is if yes, how does it do that, via cron job ?

And if no, john it doesn't work like that; I will need to find a workaround, some I have seen here in the forums.
