Hi,
Japanese Moodle course in this site has a separete group forum. Of course I can not see other group's postings by clicking the forum.
But, I can search the forum for postings by other group members. Seach results by careful keyword choice show other member's postings very efficiently.
I thinks this is related to bug 3073, but it's been already closed as fixed.
