hello Moodle Community

I don't know if its the right place to post such queries but couldn't find any other forum ,

I am a student developer , open source enthusiast ,and GSOC 2014 aspirant .
I want to start contributing to moodle , i came to know about moodle from GSOC 2013 page where i just found this link http://docs.moodle.org/dev/Applying_to_work_with_Moodle_for_GSOC but on joining the chat room i was the only person out there , may be it was meant to be for 2013 , please guide me to get started and all what i need to do , also provide some links so that i can reach to moodle community and ask any further doubts (mailing list , IRC channel or any google group)
Thanks

Hello pankaj,

I appreciate your efforts. You seems to be on the right way. Its right time to start with contributing via tracker/ submitting patches or testing.

Here are some things you should got through before submitting your application.

I was involved in gsoc'13 with moodle. It was really fantastic experience working with such a fellow community. You will find lots of thing to learn along with bunch of  community geeks & mentors.

Feel free to post here if you need any help getting ahead or you may email me.

Good luck,
