Have been thinking about moodle from a learner perspective...some ideas, which there are no current plug-ins I believe?
An embedded notebook for a course to enable students to engage with course materials and log reflective notes, document information from web, and could include cross referenced links across the student's courses and so on.
I mean, if you think about it when working on screen although it is now possible to have two word docs on screen at same time, I think an embedded notebook that can store memos etc might be useful for the student. So something that is equivalent to that of a paper and pad next to the screen-so that course materials and notes can be viewed side by side.
Also save and delete options might be useful. Ultimately, I think the notebook might afford a sense of ownership and agency for the student and in turn enable them to engage with their own learning.
Another idea...an embedded kindle...but can keep for another day
