I'm trying to create a course format which instead of loading a list of sections and activities under those sections (on the home page) it will load the content of the very first activity of the course.
I looked on the developer docs for the course format and on the Moodle API, but haven't found a clear way to achieve this.
This is a sample scenario:
Let's say I have a Course named "ABC" and this course has a page module as the very first activity. On that page I have the content "This is a test".
So what I'm looking to have is when I click the course "ABC" and I load the main course page, I get on the content area displaying "this is a test" and that the course navigation shows I'm at that activity (instead of the list of sections and activities within each section shown on the course home)
I have started a new course format based on the default "Topic Format" in moodle 2.4, I would like to know any PHP snippets that would help achieve that.
