I've used Moodle as a student in a course, and I am trying to figure out how to begin a course of my own for my students. Am I missing something? I can't figure out how to get started setting up my own course?

I have used moodle back in 2006 or 2007 and now eveything looks so very different. I wanted to use moodle just for the purpose of conducting assessments and tracking results. Please help me with this. I am not very technical savvy and would need step by step instructions. Also, let me know if there is a document / link which can help me with this.
