We are running several tests using Jmeter with 100 threads over 300 seconds. Each thread has4 simple tasks
go to a forum
go to a course
If I use a guest user and run the script, so 100 guests login over 5 minutes and go through the tasks, my servers do not even break a sweat, and have a load average of 0.95
If I use 100 users that I have added to Moodle and Jmeter by way of .csv file. the servers have a load average of 15.60 (sorry Debian), and crash
I am not sure why the server resources go up so much with a set of users added to Moodle by way of a flat file upload?. They dont need to communicate with LDAPs and AD and do not have any enrollments.
