Glossary

I can create all other resources & activities...but not a glossary. (?)

When I try, I get the web page for naming it, etc., then when I submit, I get the following error:

Could not add a new instance of glossary

I'm a sys admin, but new to moodle.

So, I am looking for answer, but also looking for guidance in how to diagnose and troubleshoot these kinds of things in moodle.
