Downloading all submissions from an assignment gives an invalid zip file. Zip file has 414Kb but cannot open it.

Just wondering whether the problem is caused by characters such as / and ? in the assignment names?
What version of Moodle are you using?
for some odd reason it worked today!
we are on 2.5.1
