Hi,

I need to disable the visibility of logs and activities namely the "Today's logs" and "All logs" under Activity reports section. This function should be disable for all users (managers, teachers etc.). Where do I find an appropriate option to disable this. Only the administration of the Moodle page should be able to see the above mentioned logs. I am using Moodle 2.5.2.

You need to edit the permissions for the roles in question:

Site Administration > Users > Permissions > Define Roles

Then edit the roles you want to change.

There are several settings for "Logs" which you can alter permissions for.

One point to mention is that Teachers do not see the site logs, they see the course logs.

I am not sure why you wold want to stop teachers seeing logs of their own courses, it is a useful way for them to get a view of how well their course is "working" in terms of student engagement.

Dear Jaz,

thank you. This is exactly that for I was searching for. I need to disable this functionality due to the internal policy at the university.
