Indeed...which is why I don't want to use it for that purpose. I'd rather have something that is part of moodle and so moodle user-aware, iyswim. If I wanted to fiddle directly with the database tables (Which I have once or twice, to update news postings when the edit time has expired) I not only have the PHPMyadmin inside moodle, but also Webmin, SQLYog and one or two other tools.
