Grade item idnumber from a quiz deteted when editing settings of the quiz

My moodle is 2.2.1+.

I've observed that the idnumber of a gradeitem associated to a quiz is deleted when I edit and save settings of a quiz.

Does anyone know if there is any solution to this.

I've found other situations where the idnumber of a quiz is deleted: for example when a user (that has taken a quiz) in a course is unenrolled from the course and then is enrolled again with the option of "Recover user's old grades if possible". I've reported an issue on this one: #MDL-41679

That sounds like a bug, one that has almost certainly been fixed since Moodle 2.2.1. You really ought to be thinking of upgrading a Moodle that old.
