course users are unable to login after Restoring a Course

Hi,

I was taken course backup from 'x' site and restored it on 'y' site thats good

enrolled users on 'x' site are unable to login on 'y' site it saying  

Restored account

This account was imported from another server and the password has been lost. To set a new password by email, please click "Continue"
 
by clicking continue it saying

If you supplied a correct username or email address then an email should have been sent to you.

and any conformation emails regarding the password is not going to user, and i need users to be login with the old password only 

Please assist me how to solve this

Unfortunately you are not going to be able to achieve this.  This is a security feature that any time you restore users to a new site, they have to reset their password.  The best solution would be to change all user passwords in the database to changeme.  This will prompt them to set a new password when they login for the first time with changeme as their password.
