Hello

I have a teacher who would like students to use the Poodlle plugin in a discussion forum to leave their contributions in audio format.  Has anyone set this up and if so can you share how you did it?  I am stumped.

We are on Moodle 2.4.5 (Build: 20130708).

Thank you

Figured it out, for anyone who needs this information:

  • Click Add A New Discussion Topic
  • Look in the top edit menu & click on the icon for 'Insert Moodle media' - it will look like this:  Insert Moodle Media Icon
  • Click on Find or upload a sound, video or applet...
  • In the next window, look in the left column & choose the Record your audio option from the list: Record Your Audio
  • The Adobe Flash Player Settings will pop open, click Allow:
                                 Flash Allow
  • The Recorder should now be available for you to record your message:
             Create Recording
  • Select Standard Audio Player from the options on the next page:
                                  standard audio player
  • Now, click Select this File
                                          select this file
  • Click Insert to add the file to your forum post.  The forum post will look like this until you Post to forum:
                                   PoodLL forum post
  • Once you post to the forum, it will look like this:
                        PoodLL forum post
