Are there a method, plugin or workaround to restrict a particular user the rights to self-enroll on courses?
I need to create manual accounts for external users, and these users need to have access only to certain courses, but no way to enter others. (but most of our courses are open to all students).
- I tried to find a capability, but as I see there is no capability for enabling/disabling self enrolment.
- I could restrict courses to cohorts one by one, but it would be a huge effort, not to mention to maintain the list of all other users up to date manually.
- For 1.9 there was the external user workaround (adding an user to a duplicated guest role on a category level), but it does not seem to work on 2.5
Any Ideas? Am I missing something?
