we've upgraded to Moodle 2.5.2 from 2.3
For normal users the performance seems fine. However I've noticed a real performance hit for admin users. Some pages can take well in excess of 10-15 seconds to load, 3/4 times that of a normal user. Is anyone else noticing the issue?

Yes, and you are not the only one to report this. If you log yourself in as another role, it seems as snappy as any other version.
I'm staying with 2.4x for now as I'm normally logged in as admin. The wait times on 2.5 are sometimes 10 seconds for a page refresh!
