I have read and followed instructions on how to force the Gradebook to total grades (points system). I am still having a problem.

Have you done the gradebook settings. And please share what you set it so that we can identify whether you have set it correctly or not.
I am of the opinion, the answer is yes; however, I am not sure what you mean by "Gradebook Settings"...Can you please explain ?

- Go to gradebook.
- Click on the Turn editing on button on the top of the page. It will take gradebook in edit mode.
- Then click the gearn icon as shown in the screenshot.
- Select "Sum of grades" in aggregation type .
Thanks. That was done previously. Still, the totals do not tally.
I can't tell if you have any categories in there...but I find if you have no items graded in a sub category the parent category won't total...and then the overall course total will be missing the points that were devoted to the category or something like that. I have never gotten this to work right.
