We are using Moodle 2.5.1.

Our faculty love using the Login As feature so they can check on the course from a specific student's perspective.  On the Administration side though, we want to insure that teachers do not see student messages when they login as a particular student.  What settings or role permissions should I check in order to insure that the students' privacy regarding messages is protected?

Hi Mary,

It's not possible to prevent viewing of messages when using the Login As feature. Thus it is recommended for teachers to use the Switch role feature, or have a test user account.
