Can't get it to work: placed module files under /moodle/mod using 1.5 alpha start install.php module seems to be installed, but doesn't work. after starting the install.php, the next lines are in the messages file: httpd: PHP Warning: dir(lang): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /opt/elo/html/moodletest/mod/hotpot/install.php on line 216 httpd: PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /opt/elo/html/moodletest/mod/hotpot/install.php on line 217 Anybody?

Hi Rob,

sorry, the "install.php" script should not have been included in the download of the module. I have removed it from the download on my server, and from the CVS.

If you are using the latest version of Moodle 1.5, the hotpot module should already be on your Moodle site, so there is no need to download and install the hotpot module separately. From now on, the best way for you to get hold of the latest verion of the hotpot module is via CVS. (see the Moodle CVS instructions if you need more information)

I don't think the fact that you attempted to run the install.php script did any damage to your Moodle site.
