Is there a way I can change the editing time in a forum from 30 minutes to 5 minutes. I am using moodle 2.4.4
As admin go to Site administration>Security>Site policies >Maximum time to edit posts.

Wouldn't changing the max edit time then apply to all students and activities?
If I wanted to reduce max edit time for just one course or activity such as a Q&A forum without affecting edit time for glossary entries would custom roles be a way of doing this or is there an easier way?

Yes it does affect everywhere, but I am not sure how a custom role could alter that just for one course - happy to see what others suggest though
