Hardware and performance

My institution is reworking our internal portal ("intranet"). First step was to throw out all of the old system. The new solution is based on Sun Java System Server Portal, a part of Sun Java Enterprise System. The project plan has my name in the space reserved for the person responsible for "Moodle - Portal Server integration".

Has anyone used these two systems in conjunction? Looking to use them together? Interested in collaboration?

Specific issues (= to be implemented soon):

• Single sign-on (Sun's Liberty is pretty much given here.)
• Calendar synchronization

General issues (= to be defined and implemented after the above):

• cross-platform visibility
• seamless movement between platforms (not oblique as look-and-feel will differ)
• cross-platform tools

PS. The spell-checker really should know the word "Moodle".
