Does anyone here work with a cohort module for their institution?
We run courses with different groups at the same time just with different start and end dates. Courses/cohorts only have approximately 15 students. This Fall will be our first attempt at implementing Moodle. I would hate to create so many duplicate courses for 15 students at a time. I understand I can use groups and that was the idea in order to separate the cohorts. BUT, I am running into the problem with assignments and grades being seen. I'm also running into the problem with lessons for one cohort that may not be for the other cohort. This may sound confusing... so as the initial questions states, "Does anyone here work with a cohort module for their institution?" --- Would you be able to inform me how you have set up your courses to benefit the intitution and students?
