FYI...My students can see their submission (s); however, I can not see what they have submitted. I can clearly see that there is a number (4) of submissions in the upper right corner. I click on that number (4) and nothing happens.
Hi there. Your screenshot is quite difficult to see but I suspect you are using an older version of Moodle - 1.9 I have seen this error reported as an error with your database MDL-26284 - could I suggest you ask your host if they have done any upgrading of MySQL which might have caused this to happen? There is a fix in the tracker but it is quite a technical one. I don't suppose it is possible for you to upgrade your version of Moodle at all?

I am interested in upgrading; however, I am very concerned about possibly disturbing the current contents (my class is open and active).
When upgrading, do I stand a chance of destroying current data?

Hi there. Before upgrading it is always advised to make a backup of everything. There are procedures to follow for upgrading from 1.9 to the latest version and it also depends on whether your hosting company meets all the requirements for a particular version.
