Hi Willie,
you need to ask to your hosting provider to enable set_time_limit() otherwise you'll not be able to run Moodle on their server(s): indeed, Moodle is used to manage the PHP timeout, for some features, based on the expected time required (on average) to run that particular operation.

I visited my hosting provider as explained and the games of ping-pong begins

they say quote and I quote " This issue is not directly related to the hosting service we offer. It is a configuration or application specific issue, so you should consult with a developer on what might have caused this issue."

How do I resolve this issue?angry
