end user hardware/browser requirements for 2.5

I have searched for this and it's probably staring me right in the face but here goes: we are using Moodle for employee education at a small community hospital. It is hosted by an outside company (Classroom Revolution). Most of our end-user computers run XP and IE8. When we upgraded to 2.3 last year we found it wouldn't work with the few computers that were running IE6 or 7, so we had to scramble to upgrade them. Now we are thinking of having CR upgrade our Moodle to 2.5. Will it work on our end-user computers with XP and IE8? Thanks - Dale

Hi Dale,

The OS should not be a factor. Regarding the browser version, IE 8 can still be used, but take into account that to use the drag and drop feature one needs IE 10.

Support for IE 8 will be dropped in Moodle 2.6.
