Is it possible to disable course badges for a course or category? ( not for all)
Not that I am aware of, no. I think the settings is for an all or nothing option for course badges. I guess you could just ask the teachers in that course or category not to make any
Ok thanks, I think so too, but I still ask. Problem is the teacher want, that the "badges" link should not show in the navigation block but only in this category ^^.
My teachers also do not want the badges to show up in the nav because they don't use it. I'd like to be able to leave it open for teachers who might want to use it. It would be good to have this as an optional display for the nav bars.
Ok I found a solution for my case. We used different themes vor the category an I hide the "badges" string with .css for this specific theme
